Set-up is simple.
Enter your EFILE preparer number and password and Personal Taxprep takes care of the rest.
Transmission is simple.
When you click "Transmit" Personal Taxprep automatically connects to the CRA or RQ Web site.
Single-step transmission lets you select and transmit as many returns as you want simultaneously. Or, you can
send multiple returns via EFILE On-Line for instant confirmations.
Managing transmissions is simple.

The Transmission Log allows you to easily monitor your transmissions. Sort and/or filter transactions by
date, client name, type of transmission, sender, etc.
- Find a specific transmission or client in an instant with the "Look For" command.
- Multiple electronic filers within one office are supported.
- EFILE Statistics provides a summary of returns transmitted as well as the number accepted and rejected.
Plus, Taxprep’s Client Manager lets you control EFILE processes and EFILE filters let you generate reports
for each return, including EFILE status, document control number and confirmation number.You can also create
customized reports using your own Client Filters.

FOUR OPTIONS FOR EFILE TRANSMISSION
To the CRA

1. EFILE On-Line – Select as many returns as you want and EFILE will follow the CRA’s procedures and send
them for you one at a time.

2. EFILE On-Line Plus – For transmission of numerous files. Follows the CRA’s procedures by grouping and
transmitting returns in batches of up to 60.
To RQ
- 3. NetFile Québec – Follows all RQ procedures.
To the CRA and/or RQ

4. Taxprep Transmission Service – The most convenient way to transmit your returns. Send your
files to us and for a minimal cost we will ensure your returns are compliant.We’ll then send them to the
CRA or RQ on your behalf.
