To correctly execute the Corporate Taxprep program you must have the following:
Processor
Pentium III 733 MHz or better (Pentium D, 2.66 GHz is recommended)
Operating system
- Windows 2000 SP4, XP SP3
- Windows Vista SP1, Home Basic and Home Premium editions & Windows Vista Business, Enterprise, Ultimate**
- 2000 Server SP4, 2003 Server SP2 (including R2) and Windows 2008 Server
- Terminal Server (Server 2000, 2003 or 2008) and Citrix (MetaFrame 4.5 Advanced version)
Notes:
Microsoft® has ended technical support and updates for Windows NT 4.0 Server operating system. Consequently,
Corporate Taxprep has discontinued support of this version of Windows.

Network File Systems
RAM Minimum
512 MB of RAM (1024 MB or higher is recommended)
Note:
RAM requirements are highly dependent on the operating system used. Please refer to the documentation provided with your
operating system for minimum and recommended RAM requirements.
Hard drive disk space
The installation requires 300 MB of free disk space on the drive where Windows is installed (by default this drive is C:\)
in order to copy temporary files, plus 150 MB of free disk space on the drive where the application will be installed.
Monitor
SVGA 800x600 monitor (1024x768 recommended), 65,000 colors
Printer
Laser printer with a minimum of 4 MB of memory (16 MB recommended) or inkjet printer
CD-ROM/DVD-ROM drive
A CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive is required to install the software. (The CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive is not required if the program
is either installed or run from another computer or network server or downloaded from the Taxprep Web site).
Acrobat Reader™
Version 7.0 or higher
DFILE (Ontario CT23 returns)
A 3.5 diskette or CD burner is required to transmit Ontario CT23 returns using DFILE.
Internet connection
To access Internet, Internet Explorer 5.5 or a more recent version with 128-bit security encryption is required.
- An Internet connection is required to: Use various electronic services available with Corporate Taxprep.
- Register returns (Lite version only)
- Register the Corporate Taxprep product.
