To correctly execute the Taxprep for Trusts program you must have the following:
Processor
Pentium III 733 MHz or better (Pentium IV 1.4 GHz is recommended)
Operating system
- Windows 2000 SP4, XP SP2
- Windows Vista Home Basic, Home Premium and Windows Vista Business, Enterprise, Ultimate**
- Windows NT 4.0 Server SP6, 2000 Server SP4 or 2003 Server SP2 (including R2)
- Terminal Server (Server 2000 or 2003) and Citrix (MetaFrame 3.0 or higher)
Notes:

Microsoft® has ended technical support and updates for Windows 98 and Windows Me operating systems.
Consequently, Taxprep for Trusts has discontinued support of these versions of Windows.

Microsoft® has ended technical support and updates for Windows NT 4.0 Server operating system.
Consequently, Taxprep for Trusts will discontinue support of this version of Windows as of version 1.0 - 2009.

Network File Systems
Note: Novell® has ended technical support and updates for Novell network 5.1. Consequently, Taxprep for Trusts
has discontinued supporting Novell 5.1 for the 2008 version.
RAM Minimum
256 MB of RAM (1024 MB or higher is recommended)
Hard drive disk space
The installation requires 295 MB of free disk space on the drive where Windows is installed (by default this drive is C:\)
in order to copy temporary files, plus 270 MB of free disk space on the drive where the application will be installed.
Monitor
SVGA 800x600 monitor (1024x768 recommended), 65,000 colors
Internet access
Internet Explorer 5.5 or a more recent version with 128-bit security encryption
Printer
Laser printer with a minimum of 4 MB of memory (16 MB recommended) or inkjet printer
CD drive
A CD drive is required to install the software (The CD drive is not required if the program is either installed
or run from another computer or network server or downloaded from the Taxprep Web site).
Acrobat Reader™
Version 7.0 or higher (version 8.0 is recommended)
Transmission of slips
Internet connection, 3.5 diskette drive or CD/DVD burner required to transmit slips with Taxprep for Trusts
Internet connection
Internet connection is required to register returns with Taxprep for Trusts Lite.
