Personal Taxprep Version 2.0 - 2009 Release
We are pleased to announce the release of Personal Taxprep
version 2.0 - 2009, which is now available for download.

The CD-ROMs will be shipped starting the week of February 7.
This version contains most of the forms released by the tax authorities for the 2009 taxation year. These forms were approved and
allow you to file income tax returns for taxpayers who do not require the forms listed in the "Forms Not Accessible or Under Review" section
of the Release Notes
Returns can be EFILED with this version of Personal Taxprep
. For the transmission reception schedule, please refer to the
"Electronic Filing" section of the Release Notes
Here is a brief summary of the main changes:
Marginal Tax Rate – Marginal Tax Rate Workchart (Jump Code: MARGINAL) – This new form allows you to calculate the
marginal rate based on four types of income: ordinary income, Canadian eligible dividends, Canadian dividends other than
eligible dividends and capital gains.
Importing Québec Slips – CCH Scan and Personal Taxprep users can now take advantage of AutoFlow Technology to
automatically extract data from Québec slips for importation into Personal Taxprep.
Importing PDF files from the Remote Validation Service into Personal Taxprep – Since January 15, 2010, you can benefit
from the Remote Validation Service.
Personal Taxprep requires an activation key to install the program, which includes various modules. If you choose to
use them, simply enter the applicable key when prompted. The activation key is found at the bottom of the letter
enclosed with the first 2009 version of the program that you received at the beginning of January; please keep it in
a safe place, as you will need it should you have to reinstall the program in the future. Your activation key is also
available, at all times, in your account information on the Taxprep
