EFILE INFO Form
If you have any questions regarding EFILE error messages and/or if you have authentication problems, you can contact your designated helpdesk.

Form EFILE INFO, EFILE Information (Jump Code: EFILE INFO) displays data from the EFILE Log and from the file properties in the active client file. This form is useful as it provides easy access to information concerning all transmissions to the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) and Revenu Québec (RQ) (NetFile Québec).
If you are a preparer with no access to the EFILE Log, this form will provide you with the necessary information concerning a transmitted return as well as the information you will need to correct a rejected return for electronic transmission purposes.
The program updates the information contained in this form when one of the following operations is done:
- Transmission of a T1 return using the EFILE service;
- Download of a CRA Express NOA (notice of assessment);
- Transmission of a TP1 return using the NetFile Québec service;
- Transmission of a pre-authorized debit agreement to the CRA;
- Transmission of a Form T1135; and
- Transmission of a Form T1013.
Available information on the EFILE INFO form
- Electronic transmission of the return to the CRA: the most recent dates of acceptance and rejection (if applicable) of the return, as well as the document control number and the relevant confirmation numbers.
- EFILE error codes (CRA) as well as their descriptions.
- Download of Express Notices of Assessment (NOA): a list of NOAs downloaded for the taxpayer. Select the Notice of Assessment that you want to view or print. Click View to display the Notice of Assessment in your Web browser. Use the print functionality in your browser to print the Notice of Assessment, if you so desire.

Electronic transmission of the returns to RQ: the most recent dates of acceptance and rejection (if applicable) of the return, as well as the relevant confirmation numbers.
