Import Data from a Planner File
Personal Taxprep allows you to import data from a planner file into a client file.
The data retrieved during this process is data that has been entered or imported into the planner file created with last year's version of Personal Taxprep.

-
On the File menu, click Import Data, then click Planner File Data.
The Import Planner File Data dialog box displays. - Select the planner file which data you want to import. Personal Taxprep will search for a match between the social insurance numbers indicated in the planner file and those in the current client file.
When an identical SIN is detected in both files, it is possible to import planner data for this taxpayer. - Select the taxpayers whose planner data you want to import.
- Click Import.
Notes: To help you verify the accuracy of the imported data, two Xpress filters are made available to you:
