Align Text and Adjust Margins in a Table
You can customize the disposition of the text in the table or in a few cells.
Align text in a table or cells
- Select the table or the cells for which you want to modify the disposition of the text in cells.
- In the mini toolbar of the tables, click one of the following buttons:

Align the text in the upper left corner of the cell.
Centre the text vertically and align it with the left side of the cell.
Align the text with the lower left corner of the cell.
Centre the text and align it with the top of the cell.
Centre the text and align it with the bottom of the cell. 
Align the text with the upper right corner of the cell. 
Centre the text vertically and align it with the right side of the cell. 
Align the text with the lower right corner of the cell.
Adjust the margins for the table
- Click
in the mini toolbar of the tables.
The Table Properties dialog box displays. - In the Table tab, click Options.
The Table Options dialog box displays. - Set the top, bottom. left and right margins, if required.
- Click OK twice.
Adjust the margins for the cells
- Select the cells for which you want to adjust the margins.
- Click
in the mini toolbar of the tables.
The Table Options dialog box displays. - Set the top, bottom. left and right margins, if required.
- Click OK.
