Go to the Corresponding Cell of the Québec Return

When you complete a return Personal Taxprep allows you, for certain cells in the federal return, to go to the corresponding cells of the Québec return easily in order to simplify data entry if the amount for Québec purposes is different from the federal amount. A blue arrow pointing left in a federal cell indicates that there is a corresponding cell in a Québec form.

When your cursor is on a cell of this type, you can go to the corresponding Québec cell by doing one of the following:

• Right-click and click Québec, if different;
• On the Forms menu, click Québec, if different; or
• Press Shift+F9.

If you choose to override the Québec amount, the arrow in the cell of the federal form will become red to indicate that the amount has been overridden in the Québec cell. If you do not override the Québec amount, the arrow will remain blue .
