Profile – Authorization Forms
This preparer profiles tab allows you to make choices with respect to the filing of Forms T1-ADJ and MR-69 for all clients.
The Authorize a representative service in EFILE software for individuals has been permanently decommissioned by the CRA. Taxpayers can give you online access to their CRA account if they:
-
have access to the My Account service to add you as a representative or to confirm your authorization request; OR
-
give you previously assessed tax information when you submit your initial authorization request through the Represent a Client service.
By default, the request applies to all taxation years (previous, current and future). You must specify whether it is an authorization or a power of attorney. You can also specify an expiry date for the authorization or the power of attorney, if you desire. To cancel or modify requests, complete Form MR-69.
