Additional Information for Printing Returns That Do Not Comply with CRA for Bar Codes and Alberta Requirements for RSI Schedules
When printing several returns, Corporate Taxprep will display, if applicable, a box indicating which corporations have federal or Alberta returns that do not comply with filing requirements and, consequently, are not ready to be printed. You must indicate whether you want to print these returns or not. If you choose to continue and print the non-compliant returns, for each affected return Corporate Taxprep will print a page mentioning that these returns must not be filed with the CRA or Alberta because they do not comply with the requirements. In the event that you choose to continue printing returns that do not meet the requirements of corporations that have no business number or NAICS code, the RSI - Bar codes schedules will not print.
Note: The RSI, Electronic Filing and Bar Codes Control Workchart (Jump Code: RSI-EFILE-BAR CODES) allows you to indicate whether or not the federal or Alberta tax returns that do not comply with filing requirements should be printed. Furthermore, the control workchart allows you to select the return for T2 EFILE or CO-17 EFILE purposes, or both of them, before it can be transmitted. In this form, you cannot force the printing or filing of the T2 return for a corporation with no business number.
