Move or Copy the Content of Cells

Corporate Taxprep provides editing commands that allow you to copy or move the content of cells and then paste them to another destination who could be a cell, a form or a tax return.)

Before using the Cut, Copy and Paste commands, you must target="_blank">select the cells that will be edited.

Notes:

  • In order for the content of the selected cells from the source form to be copied to the destination form, the forms must be identical; that is, they must have the same numeric and alphanumeric cells.
  • Similarly, in order for the content of the source cell to be copied to the destination cell, it must be of the same type (numeric or alphanumeric) and the same format (cells for telephone numbers and Business Numbers).

To move the content of cells from a form to another destination, proceed as follows:

  1. Select the content of the cells you want to move.
  2. On the Edit menu, click Cut.
  3. Display the destination form, then select the cells where the selected content will be copied.
  4. On the Edit menu, click Paste to paste the selection in the cells of the destination form

To copy the content of cells from a form to another destination proceed as follows:

  1. Select the content of the cells you want to copy.
  2. On the Edit menu, click Copy.
  3. Display the destination form, then select the cells where the selected content will be copied.
  4. On the Edit menu, click Paste to paste in the selection to the cells of the destination form.
