Create an Environment
To create an environment, proceed as follows:
- On the Tools menu, click Create an Environment.
- In the Environment name box, enter the name that you want to give to the environment.
- Click OK.
The environment that is created will apply to the active work session and will keep the configuration settings that you have customized. When Corporate Taxprep is shut down, all of the subsequent changes to the configuration will automatically be saved in the active environment, meaning the new environment.
If you are using the Advanced Network version of Corporate Taxprep, an environment created during an on-line mode work session will not be available when opening an off-line work session and vice versa.
Note: There is no limit to the number of environments that can be created. However, each new environment that is created becomes the active environment.
