Print the Current Return
To print the current return (the current return is the return that is currently displayed. It can be a current-year return or a planner return., proceed as follows:
- On the File menu, click Print Tax Return.
When you send a print request for returns that are in the active client file, and there is at least one diagnostic that needs to be corrected, a window displaying the diagnostics appears; you are then prompted to correct them before printing. - In the Print Tax Returns dialog box, select the printing options that you want to apply.
In addition, when printing a planner return, the "Planner" watermark is automatically activated. However, you can deactivate printing of this watermark on each of the forms.
If you want to print slips while printing returns, ensure that the selected templates contain the print settings concerning the slips. - Click OK.
Warning! Planner returns cannot be filed with the tax authorities because they do not contain an authorization number.
Note: When printing slips in pre-printed format or in facsimile format, a warning message may display to prompt you to insert pre-printed forms or regular format paper in the paper tray being used, no matter if the option is activated.
