Printing in French Required for Certain Québec Forms
Revenu Québec (RQ) requires that certain forms be filed in French only.
Printing of these forms in English will still be possible, but this should only be done for personal use. Where applicable, a watermark indicating “SPECIMEN” will appear on all of the form’s pages and schedules.
Set the forms to print in French or English
The print formats provided with Taxprep Forms print the forms affected by this requirement in the language of correspondence, except for the “Govt” and “Govt-pre” print formats, which always print the form in French. Furthermore, you cannot modify the print language for forms that must be filed in French in the predefined print formats.
To modify the print language for these forms, proceed as follows:
- For a permanent change, create or modify a customized print format, then set the properties.
- For a temporary change responding to a specific need, modify the language during printing, based on the templates, from the Client Manager or the Form Manager.
