Search Within Forms

You can do a search for a character string within a form. For example, the description of a line or its number. The search, however, is not performed on data entered.

You can do a search within a single form or within all of the forms available in Corporate Taxprep.

To search text within forms, proceed as follows:

  1. Display the form within which you want to do the search.
  2. On the Edit menu, click Find.
    or
    Press Ctr+F.
  3. In the Find dialog box, enter the text that you want to find.
  4. To search text within all of the forms, select the Search all forms check box.
  5. Click Find to start the search.
If the search is made in all of the forms, Corporate Taxprep will display a list of all the forms that contain the text you want to find.
  6. Corporate Taxprep will highlight the first occurrence found.
Click Find Next to look for the next occurrence. If applicable, when the search is completed in this form, it will continue in the next form on the list.
Note: If you want to search in another form on the list, double-click the form, then click Find next to search for the occurrences.
