Include Label Printing in One or More Print Formats

To identify the most appropriate method for printing labels, you must consider how many printers are at your disposal as well as your work method.

Use of several printers

If you use several printers, it is preferable to send the print requests for the forms and the labels to different printers; that way it will not be necessary to load the label sheets between the different print jobs for the client files.

Use of a single printer

If you use only one printer, you can set the print for the forms and the labels to different paper trays or you can set the print options for the labels so that a message will display reminding you to insert the label sheets, or both. It is preferable to display this message whether you are using one or more print formats because the program will begin to print the labels immediately after printing the forms; displaying this message will allow you to load the label sheets.

No matter the number of printers that you dispose of; you can use one or two print formats. If you use a single print format, ensure that printing of the Form Labels - Preview and Print form (Jump Code: LPP) is activated and is sent to a printer other than the one used to print forms.
